Post is rapidly changing around the world. With the exponential growth of e-mails and trade websites such as E-Bay, Amazon and Trade Me, the face of mail has changed dramatically in the last ten years.

In this project Herring Ryan brought experience in Activity Based Costing and TM1 to develop a model that showed this national postal organisation where their costs lay, where their growth areas were and thus helped the business make sensible, provable, pricing decisions as well as gave senior management confidence on how to direct their strategic efforts in order to remain viable in the changing postal industry.

The model is consulted for product entry/exit decisions, pricing and to enter in regulatory negotiations with competitors and government representatives.
